<p>It seems that Facebook don&#8217;t believe in the confirmed optin process when it comes to slapping your face all over their facebook advertising.</p>
<p>Just in case you didn&#8217;t know.. you have to <strong>opt out</strong> to prevent your avatar being used in a contextual advert within the facebook site.</p>
<p><strong>You will need to remove permission..</strong></p>
<p>1. Log into your Facebook account.</p>
<p>2. Select &#8220;Settings&#8221; (at the top right of the screen) and choose &#8220;Privacy&#8221; from the drop down menu.</p>
<p>3. Then choose newsfeeds and wall and click on the &#8220;Facebook Ads&#8221; tab.</p>
<p>4. Finally, choose “No One” in the appearance in Facebook ads popup. Be sure to confirm the change by clicking &#8220;<strong>Save</strong>&#8220;.</p>
